Interview
Server: Blockchain to verify information and resources How do you use
Larry Sanger: We may not call this system perfect, there may be errors. Users can access each resource. In the long run, I think when we move into the second phase of the Everipedia network, we will have a rating system for all the encyclopedia articles in the world.. In short, this will create a global competition to best represent what we know about each topic.. To win the competition, the best articles will need to be extremely well sourced and written.. The best way to manage this was to put it in a Blockchain system.
We are still testing exactly how the parameters will be. We are creating the smart contracts that will govern the functioning of the network.. This is very exciting. Ultimately, there will be a constitution with an agreement among all users, which will be coded in smart contracts.
Server: The constitution sounds too formal.. Do you see it almost like a country?
LS: If we are to be truly decentralized and democratic, it must be governed by real rules.. When it comes to the encyclopedia network, there are huge and important editorial decisions to be made.. We cannot ignore this.
