Russian social network VKontakte accepts Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash

Mail.ru Group announced that the advertising platform MyTarget has started to accept Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash as payment methods on platforms owned by Mail.ru and other websites in the advertising network. Cryptocurrencies will also be added soon for publishers on myTarget’s ad network, so website owners and app developers on the myTarget network will be able to accept payments in cryptocurrencies.

Founder of Telegram, known as Russian Facebook Founded by Pavel Durov and his brother, VKontakte is also a social media platform belonging to the Mail.ru group. Alongside VKontakte, also known as VK, Odnoklassniki (OK) and email system Mail.ru will thus use cryptocurrencies for advertising payments.

Mail.ru has partnered with BitPay for cryptocurrency payments . BitPay; It works with more than 50,000 companies worldwide, including giants such as Microsoft, Virgin Galactic, PayPal and Zynga.
