Poloniex Shows Incorrect Customer Balance

Poloniex users, the exchange incorrectly shows the customer the balance status when orders are cancelled.. A user:

“When I cancel any of my orders, I cannot get the original USDT value back. Usually the purchase value I wanted to get would be returned to my account and there would be no problem, but today I realized that every time I cancel my order, the “estimated value of the shares” is getting smaller and smaller and it never returns to the old total.”

he stated.

Poloniex responded to this question via its Twitter account:

“We are investigating complaints about problems in account balances after canceled transactions.”

After that, several reddit users responded by saying that their account balances were leveled.

Other reddit users complained that their account balances showed incorrect or even missing values:

“My margin account got out of control a few minutes ago. My positions are profitable and still individually displayed, but all of a sudden I get alerts saying “Mandatory Liquidation” and margins of ~16%’. Fortunately none of my positions were liquidated, but right now I can’t manage any of them effectively due to the very low margin.. I’ve had similar issues with the margin system before, and they fixed themselves as usual, but this time it’s very annoying. I hope it’s just a system glitch and everything can be fixed.”

Poloniex responded to this issue as well and said they are working to fix balances and stop liquidations:

Many complain that their ticket responses are too late; such that a user says he waited more than 158 days for a response to his ticket.
