E-Voting Trial with Blockchain in Switzerland Successfully Concluded
Switzerland’s city of Zug has announced that its trial of blockchain-based voting has been successful.
In the report published last month on Coindoo, it was stated that the features of a blockchain-based electronic voting system in Switzerland’s “Crypto Valley” will be tested.. According to the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation, users had the chance to participate in surveys specified by the blockchain protocol-based mobile application they downloaded between June 25 and July 1.
A Successful Trial

Voting system with the City of Zug and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Lucerne Developed by Luxoft, an Information Technology company in collaboration with. Luxoft wants to expand blockchain-based electronic voting globally.
The CTO of Luxoft said:
“There are concerns about electronic voting because a vote is for direct voting. constitutes the basic mechanism. That’s why we believe this technology should not be owned by a single company.. We will create our electronic voting platform as “open source” so that people can understand what this technology is and how it works.. We want to encourage and motivate more people around the world to develop blockchain-based applications for governments…”
