Denying Maduro’s Partnership Claims From The Russian Government
The Russian government denied the news that Venezuela would help ensure petro circulation.
According to Tass news, Artyom Kozhi, Press and Publication Director of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told Time Magazine that Russian officials and businessmen with petro. He called the report “fake news.” But of course, at the meeting in Moscow on February 21, 2018, Venezuelan Minister of Economy Simon Zerpa gave a booklet to inform Russian partners about cryptocurrencies.”

The news came just after Trump announced new sanctions that prohibited Americans from shopping with petro.
The Tass report states that petro also has partners such as the Russian ruble, Turkish lira, euro and yuan. Although it has been announced that investors will be able to start trading from Friday, it is not yet clear where they will do so.
