Bozankaya will produce Turkey’s first domestic metro line

Bozankaya, which started its activities as an R&D company in Germany about 30 years ago, moved all its investments to Turkey in 2005. The Sincan-based company took action to produce Turkey’s metro. Breaking new ground, Bozankaya has signed to produce Turkey’s domestic subway. The company, which realized the export of buses and the first domestic metro, signed the contract to produce 28 vehicles. Making statements on the subject from social media platforms, Bozankaya stated that they will produce Kocaeli’s metro. The vehicles, which will be designed at the company’s Ankara facilities, are expected to be delivered in 2022. After the agreement, which was reported to be worth approximately 350 million liras, work started at the facilities in Ankara.
