The groom’s friend, Enes Kolukırık, first donated 100 TL to the bride and then transferred 30 dollars worth of Bitcoin to the groom via the wallet application on his phone. Another wedding guest, who recorded the whole process with his mobile phone, immortalized the extraordinary and fun moments. At the end of the day it was still 100 TL. However, Bitcoin was already $35.”
