Washington Government Requests Trade Data from Cryptocurrency Exchanges
Washington government has been conducting research on cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency exchanges for a while. As of today, the Washington government has requested commercial data from 4 crypto money exchanges actively operating in the USA, and this information should be shared with Washington government officials as soon as possible in order to understand whether there are negative situations and whether there is money laundering, otherwise, the relevant laws.
USA government requested information from cryptocurrency exchanges on this matter and conveyed to 4 exchanges that they should be given full and complete records and that no information should be hidden. Stock exchange officials, on the other hand, stated that this situation was a violation of confidentiality and stated that they had to provide this information while reacting to the US government, otherwise they would not be able to continue to provide services in the USA and they would be faced with sanctions.
