Russian giant Oteko sells Petgaz
Oteko, known for her closeness to Russian President Vladimir Putin, is slowly withdrawing from Turkey. Oteko Group, one of the largest energy companies in Russia, acquired Petgaz from UK-owned BP in 2012. Oteko, which transferred Petgaz’s facility in Yarımca to Yeniyurt Petrol Terminal AŞ in 2017, has now started working to sell the remaining ones.
Applications were made to authorized institutions
According to the news of Kerim Ülker from the World, Oteko, which has applied to the authorized institution for sales transactions, continues its efforts to sell Petgaz to the Turkish BDY Group. If the agreement is completed, the Russian energy company Oteko will no longer have any assets to conduct its operations in Turkey.
