Vitalik Buterin, “Ethereum Will Have Visa Transaction Capacity in 2 Years”

Ethereum, which has the second largest market value after Bitcoin, is growing in popularity thanks to Blockchain technology and the increasing number of ICO projects.

TechCrunch Disrupt Speaking in 2017, Vitalik Buterin stated that the Ethereum platform has the capacity to change much of what is known about data and security. It was a strong indication that it was going to happen. Buterin said:

“Bitcoin is processing a little less than three transactions per second. Ethereum, on the other hand, processes five transactions per second. It will only take a few years for Blockchain to replace Visa. ”

Ethereum inventor Vitalik Buterin also stated that Blockchain technology could provide platforms for gaming and other data-intensive applications in the future.
