John McAfee: Blockchain is the Best Thing to Happen to Humanity
John McAfee has already managed to introduce himself to the world as a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency market. Mc Afee, who is very interested in what Blockchain technology can bring to the world with her successful infrastructure in cyber security programs and programming, from how she chooses the coins of the week, what she pays attention to, why Blockchain technology is the best thing that has ever happened to humanity. He told many questions, until he thought it was true, in an interview with the Coin Telegraph site. Here’s that interview:
Question: You have more than 700 thousand followers on Twitter. Do you know that you have a great influence in the cryptocurrency market and do you think it is a positive thing?
John Mc Afee: Sure. Of course, it’s nice to have hundreds of thousands of people following me on cryptocurrencies.. But it’s not just about the number of followers.. I give speeches at many different conferences and try to tell people something.. I’m very close with Jihan Wu from Bitmain. And the likes of Roger Ver and Brock Pierce are my party buddies. We party with them all the time. I actually have more influence on the market than my follower count. Sitting down and talking about Bitcoin Cash with Roger Ver and Jihan Wu is more important than tweeting to 700,000 people.
Question: How is the coin of the week chosen? How is this researched?
John McAfee: My most important aim and support point here is what the project wants to do and how it conveys it.. Will you complete your project and product on time? Do you have a competent team in blockchain, software, research development and marketing? More importantly, does the project have a use case? So can I use this? We already pay for the apps we already use, and if we pay for it in coins, the value of this money will be greater.
For example, I would like to have KWHCoin! There is no bigger nightmare in life than using more energy than you need.. I wish these kilowatts had a coin and we could transfer more. For example, if something like this was done, it would obviously cost a lot.. It is both useful to society, something new, and necessary.. Such things go through generations and leave a huge mark.. Otherwise, no one can open and read the white paper.
Question: Do your opinions about coins change over time?
JM: certainly. Everyone makes mistakes. I looked at the coin at first, I liked it, I tweet, but the guys can’t manage time or it leaves a conflict in the project.. In that case, of course I would be wrong.
Question: Has anyone offered you money in exchange for promoting their projects and coins?
JM: of course. I can say for sure that they tried to give me money. Of course, I will not talk about what and how much they offer me here.. I won’t tell you how much money I got from whom.. I do this job as a money making job and everyone’s job is private, so I find it ridiculous to ask such questions.
Question: Do you blame yourself for the increase and decrease in coins after your words and tweets?
Absolutely. I think my words have a big impact. Let’s imagine: if I saw something the world should know, of course I would write it down. It doesn’t help anyone if it’s just me knowing it.. I just don’t like to whisper such information to my friends. Check out Verge. I said it would double its price, and it instantly earned 1500%.
It’s not my problem if people go and invest based on my words.. I’m not telling anyone to go and definitely get this, I’m not imposing anything on anyone.. At the end of the day, everyone makes their own decision.. You go and buy a coin, it increases 500 times, I do not assume success here. However, even if it falls, I do not assume the same success.. The decision maker is the person himself.
If people see this place as a paradise to make easy and quick money, then they are seriously mistaken.. If you’re just looking at it as making money, your job is age. If we look at the revolutionary side of it, if we look at the benefits of use, the benefits in the future, and the work they do, then we are the real winners.. I consider these when I look at a coin. I ask if it has the potential to affect the lives of my children, my wife, my loved ones, and I always will.. You can tell me anything you want, mud as much as you want, call me any nickname you want.. I do not care. Don’t think that I’m going to worry about it. I don’t even care.
Question: Do you regret any of the coins you mentioned earlier?
JM: Yes. Especially Fina Koindisappointed me greatly.
2nd ICO this week: FINA coin. It eliminates fraud in the maritime and aviation industries – now costing in excess of $1 Billion/year. It is also is the first coin to combat terrorism and human trafficking – my hot buttons. This one is unique and stellar. https://t.co/cWU6KJzKmw

After posting this tweet After a while I learned that the team behind it were members of a Nigerian criminal gang.. Unfortunately, sometimes you don’t have a chance to get all the information until someone tells you.. I made the correction as soon as I found out later, but I’m sorry for what happened anyway…
I have been presented with evidence that the FINA ICO was organized by an individual associated with a known Nigerian criminal organization. I have no proof that they will not follow through and list the coins or develop a product, but I must withdraw my support. Details coming.

There is nothing to do. It’s the nature of this business.. I’m trying not to get hung up on these. My current sole purpose is to do my job to the best of my ability.
Question: What is the first piece of advice you give to crypto investors?
JM: No such thing. Because today I say one thing, but tomorrow a different story may come up.. Someone else can come and take his place. In my opinion, the future stars of Blockchain technology and more specifically the cryptocurrency market; There will be projects that are creative and can produce solutions to be used in daily life.. Right now, most of the people are wondering how to make money. Will Bitcoin go up or down? Why isn’t Ethereum rising? What happened to Ripple? They ask questions like . The incident has nothing to do with them.. The philosophy and technology behind is so extreme. We need to look at what will change us in the future, nor will it rewrite our destiny.
We have to follow the projects closely.. We have to choose well. We must separate the bad from the projects that have a future. Bitcoin is neither Ethereum nor everyone knows it. The important thing is to know what new incoming cryptocurrencies provide solutions to.. Surely one of these projects will change us in the future and we need to find it.
Question: Did you regret your promise after Bitcoin’s drop?
When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong. pic.twitter.com/WVx3E71nyD

Meali: ”Bitcoin end of 2020 I said strong> 500 thousand dollars. I also said 5 thousand for 2017. But it’s getting better. Now I raise the bet and say Bitcoin will hit $1 million by the end of 2020.. If I’m wrong, I’m going to eat the *name.”
JM: No. When Jamie Dimon said Bitcoin was bad, the price dropped by 40% in a matter of hours. I wasn’t worried then either. And now I’m not worried.
Question: And why did you make that promise?
JM: I was on a TV show at the time and I was speechless. just came out. “I’ll eat my genitals if Bitcoin doesn’t get $500,000.” When I said it, the price was $400. You see where it came from later on. Then when I saw this situation, I said I was wrong and I increased my estimate to $1 million. We’ll wait and see…
Question: What do you think has had an impact on this recent decline, and what will happen in the future?
JM: What played a role in Bitcoin’s real downfall. Namely, JP Morgan Bank. The men are from the world’s largest banks. All banks are so scared because everyone’s wallet is a bank now. We won’t need them in the future. If they don’t do something, they will disappear in the near future.
Question: Your Twitter account is constantly being hacked.. How is this possible?
JM: It was hacked only once, you are doing me an injustice. I know who did it and how it was done because the guys who did it got to me later. They used a new technique. At first, I was unaware of the incident and thought Twitter was hacked, but later I realized it.. They kept calling the local centers and saying “Hello, I’m John Mc Afee, I lost my SIM cards, could you give me a new one and change my account to “this” until they did it, and finally they found a sweet hero.. All of a sudden, my phone stopped working and the password I entered did not match when I entered Twitter.. When I asked for the password to the phone, I did not receive the password on my phone, he went to that phone.
The bastards used the code and changed the password of the account.. They stayed on my account for 2.5 hours until I got the account back.. In fact, the thing you trust yourself to is your weakness here.. Once your phone number is captured, there is nothing left to do.. Fortunately, however, the Twitter support team helped me and we got the job done.
Question: What do you think is the basic philosophy in cryptocurrencies?
JM: /strong>I think the main purpose here is the motto “Let’s take the power from the centralized men and give it to the people”. If something stays in one place all the time, it will eventually degenerate.. It will lose its power and influence.. This is where Blockchain technology comes into play and distributes the power.. We’re the side that he messed up. In other words, in this way, humanity will achieve something that should have been from the very beginning, albeit belatedly, after all these years.. For example, why would I need a government’s permission to send money to someone without harming myself or others? Why would that guy tell me what to do?
Here’s what’s going on. We’re entering a permissionless world and it’s awesome. If you become an adult, you are now the boss of your life.. You don’t need someone else’s permission to do anything. No matter what age your country calls you, 12, 14 or 20… The moment you get there, you are the captain.. In this way, humanity will get closer to perfection.. This is a miraculous way to reach perfection. We’ll probably screw it up right now, but even if we do, something far better than the current system has been achieved.
Question: How do you see the future of cryptocurrencies?
JM: There’s going to be a big explosion somewhere, it’s pretty clear to me. We’re just at the beginning right now. As I have insisted and underlined in many places before, every area of life has to produce its own coin, and it will do so in the future.. Because each coin will have a different function and a different problem to solve.. Just like when the Internet first entered our lives.. There was a big change there, too, but besides the change created by this system, the camel achieved by the internet remains unheard of.. It will be a change 100 times stronger, deeper, more lasting and more successful.. I can’t even imagine 5 years from now…
